Our mouse Adapt-A-Base (AAB) system employs a platform that fits beneath a standard commercial non-IVC shoebox style 7.5” x 11.5” mouse cage with two embedded piezo disc sensors. Custom AAB platform sizes are available with an additional design cost. The AAB platform itself is made of acrylic sheet, and the sensor components are mostly made of polylactic acid. The price is the same for either system. However, our custom cage system includes both cages and sensors, whereas the AAB system includes the AAB platforms only. If needed, commercial mouse cages can be purchased from us or directly from the manufacturer.
